Palma NovaPalma Nova is located in the south west of Majorca and along with Magaluf is the largest development in the region. Transfer time is around 20-30 minutes in a taxi but can be longer if you are on a multidrop coach transfer. Palma Nova is a very popular resort with british holiday makers. Magaluf and Palma Nova are the Majorca you have read about, with loud bars and clubs and exubrant party goers. Palma Nova has a slightly less brash reputation with fewer nightclubs but if you want a quiet time in high season you would be advised to look at other resorts. A purpose built resort, Palmanova has a pedestrianised promenade and three fine sandy beaches with a large array of activities such as watersports, boat trips etc. There is a huge choice of bars, cafes and restaurants, mainly along the promenade, from fast food outlets to more traditional Spanish restaurants, although these are in the minority.
