PagueraA resort in southwest Mallorca, 14 miles west of Palma and 20 miles from the airport, Paguera is especially popular with German holidaymakers who go there to enjoy the beaches and coastal walking routes. The three main beaches, Palmira, Tora and La Romana, are linked by a promenade, with stunning views, which is also home to most of the bars and restaurants in the resort, and some cater specifically for British visitors. There are quiet, winding residential streets on the uphill side, where most of the hotels are located and a small park with pine trees, near the tourist office, has a fair-sized water slide. Nightlife is in the form of several small-scale disco/bars and nightspots, as well as shows in the hotels. There are buses to Magalluf and Illetas every half and hour and regular buses to Palma.
