Magaluf

The resort of Magaluf (Magalluf in Spanish) is located on the southwest coast, just ten miles west of Palma and 15 miles from the airport. It is especially popular with young British visitors who are looking for a loud and lively holiday and merges with the smaller resort of Palma Nova.

Nightlife in Magaluf is extrovert and the numerous British pubs, discos, cafes, cocktail bars and nightclubs make this one of the liveliest resorts in Spain. At midnight the town just starts to come alive and by 2 am, most people are heading for the big clubs. The largest nightclub on the island is BCM, in Magaluf, which attracts top DJs from around the world. The casino (with its nightclub) offers international shows with dining. Mature holidaymakers tend to take over in the low season..

The numerous restaurants in Magaluf cater for many tastes. There are Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Italian and even some Spanish restaurants, as well as fast food outlets and lots of pubs and cafes offering full English breakfasts and traditional British food.

Most daytime activities are focused around the beach in Magaluf. All sorts of water sports are available. Nearby is the Wester Water Park, tennis and bowling is available in the resort, as well as karting, golf and cycling.
