Ca'n Picafort

Located in the centre of Alcudia Bay in northwest Mallorca, C'an Picafort is 54 kilometres (34 miles) from Palma de Mallorca. The Bay of Alcudia is the largest bay in the Balearics with a total of 17 kilometres (10.5 miles) of beach.

Originally a small fishing village, Ca'n Picafort is now a thriving holiday resort, particularly popular with German tourists. There are two main beaches, the marina and the pedestrianised promenade where you will find several bars and restaurants with their terraces overlooking the sea. There are some nightclubs but the evening entertainment is mainly hotel based.

There are several leisure activities available in Ca'n Picafort including horse-riding, go-carting, windsurfing, tennis, mini-golf, cycling, sailing, water-skiing.

Around the resort you will find the nearby nature reserve 'La Albufera' to the west and further inland is Santa Margarita where the majority of the area's population live.
