Ca'n PastillaCa'n Pastilla can be found on the south western coast of Mallorca, on the Bay of Palma, five miles south east of the capital itself and close to the resort of El Arenal. It is just one mile from the end of the runway of Palma's international airport and so many visitors are likely to experience some degree of aircraft noise. Popular with British holidaymakers, especially families with young children, the sandy beach stretches all the way to El Arenal and is complete with a climbing frame and trampoline. The town consists of a narrow main street with a central church, set among tightly packed streets beside the picturesque little harbour. The seafront is lined with bars, restaurants and cafes offering both international menus and local dishes. Nightlife revolves around the hotels and bars and is low-key. The main nightlife is nearby in El Arenal so Ca'n Pastilla would not particularly suit those looking to enjoy a lively party atmosphere. Regular buses run to both Palma and El Arenal, with several stops along the main road. A tourist train runs along the sea front, with service to El Arenal and inexpensive taxis are readily available.
