Sa ComaThe purpose-built resort of Sa Coma lies on Mallorca's east coast, between Cala Millor and S'Illot. S'Illot can be reached on foot, while a tourist tram connects to Cala Millor and its attractions. Sa Coma especially popular with British visitors who enjoy the wide sandy beach with its broad shallow shelf of clear, blue water. The beach has 'Blue Flag' status for cleanliness, water quality and safety. Water sports and other activities are available along the beach. The beach is fronted by a wide promenade lined with restaurants, bars and shops, many of them British owned. There are few bars or other venues for evening activities in Sa Coma, and therefore the resort is more suited to young families and more mature visitors. Sa Coma is not a good choice for holidaymakers who are seeking bright lights and hectic nightlife.
